Any assembly can be enhanced with the use of a skit or a play. Many of the monthly themes are simple to find a related drama, other themes can be quite difficult. At Price Laboratory School, skits are added to assemblies as tools that teach and reinforce the monthly themes. Sometimes the citizenship themes refer to specific expectations in areas of the school (ie - walk quietly in the hallways) or use phrases common to our student body ("Give me 5 at PLS!") As a result, many original skits have been written to relate directly to that monthly theme. Click on the themes and skits below to view the original skits for the following monthly themes.
WALK QUIET IN THE HALLWAYS (November, 2001)
RESPECT GUEST TEACHERS (October, 2001) "Mrs. Stichter's Maternity Leave" - Mrs. S's 1st & 2nd Grade
ASSEMBLY MANNERS (September, 2001) "Teaching Assembly Manners and Etiquette" - Elem. Faculty |
