Respect - an original song For one monthly "Respect" theme, a special emphasis was to encourage students to respect their bodies. After searching resources for a related and appropriate song and finding none, the music teacher composed the original song, "Respect Your Body." Cooperation - an existing song For "Cooperation" related themes the song, "Cooperation Hop" (Helvering, 1991) has been a big hit. This song is from Sandi Patti's Open for Business album, a great resource for citizenship songs. Drug Prevention - an existing song All elementary students were taught the song, "All You Gotta Say is NO" (Brady, 1983) which they enjoyed singing for the Red Ribbon Week during an October assembly.
