 1. Caring: December 2003 Theme

     Follow the Golden Rule = treat others the way you want them to treat you.  Show caring, kindness, generosity, and compassion.  Compare a caring and uncaring person.  This could be the Grinch and show his transformation.  You can also use Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy.  Make a poster showing the differences.



Don’t be like Draco: selfish, mean, cruel, and insensitive to the needs of others. 

Be like Harry: caring, kind, and mature.  Maturity is the ability to think and care about someone besides oneself.

Give each class a copy of the poster to display in a visible spot in their room.
