- What is culturally responsive caring? How can teachers use the components of culturally responsive caring to improve their teaching?

- How could this lesson reflect more multicultural planning? How could the inclusion of transportation methods in other cultures, specifically in the Bengali culture, enhance this lesson?
- Judy Robinson explains in her interview that she records the computer slide presentation on VHS tapes to send home for parents to see. She says, “. . . anyway that I can include the parents or families in what their students are doing in the classroom and letting them actually see what we’re doing, it’s great instead of just a paper going home or a book going home. It’s very exciting for them and for me to include them in what we’re doing.” Do you feel parental involvement is important? Why or why not? What steps would you take to encourage parent participation?
