MultiCultural: Previewing Questions

  1. How can English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers incorporate multicultural education into the classroom? How can students’ backgrounds and experiences be used to learn about various cultures?
  2. One of the eight characteristics of multicultural schools is that teachers and administrators show respect for students’ first languages and dialects. How can ESL programs ensure that they reflect this characteristic?
