Solar System Colonization Project 2000

The Task

Your team has been asked by NASA to determine the best location in our solar system to build a space station. The space station will be built to help with the problem of over population, so people must be able to live in this space station. NASA needs to build a space station soon. Your team needs to research and report on two questions:

  • Where in our solar system should a space station be built?
  • What adaptations will need to be made at that location to support life?

Your team will include an astronomer, a meteorologist, a geologist, a psychologist/sociologist, and a biologist. Your findings will be presented to an expert in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. An expert will evaluate your findings and decide which team's space station to fund.
