- What would be the advantages of collaborating with community members on a school project? How does this increase student learning?
- In a diverse setting, how would school-community collaboration increase awareness of ethnic and cultural groups? In a setting that is not diverse, would school-community collaboration also increase this awareness? How can teachers facilitate this awareness?
- Within the tenets of democracy, steps are given to enhance tolerance. How can teachers use these steps to encourage tolerance?

- One of the goals of multicultural education
is intercultural/interethnic/intergroup understanding in the classroom, school, and community. How did this activity promote relationships between school and community? What strategies did Pratt utilize to build these relationships?
