Real Player 8.0 Basic Download Instructions

To download RealPlayer click on the icon:  

Fill out the form with the appropriate information. An example is below:

1. Email = Your full email address (example support@intime.uni.edu)
2. Country = Select the country you are downloading the RealPlayer Basic from (ex. United States)
3. Choose Operating System you use on your computer. If you do not know what system is on your computer please click here.

   
   

4. Choose Language = English

5. Choose Connection = If using Campus connection choose T1 or faster. If using modem connection select the fastest connection you have or the files will stream to you slower than your connection speed

   

    

6. You do not have to select option 4 and 5. Click on the Download button when you are done.

   

 

7. Select your download option (INTIME recommends RealPlayer 8 Basic Standart option) and click on the Download button when you are done.

   

    

8. Click on a US location:

   

9. If you are downloading on PC computer a "Save as..." system menu will appear. Choose a location on your hard drive to save the installation file to (INTIME recommends Temporary directory on your hard drive). You may save it anywhere - just remember where that folder is. Press the "Save Button". If you on MAC computer the installation will be started automatically.
