You must quit all open programs, including older versions of RealPlayer,
before installing RealPlayer 8 for Mac OS. We suggest you print this page
before the installation.
- On your desktop find the RealPlayer Installation shortcut and double
click on it to start the installation process.

- Click Next on the welcome screen.

- Accept the licensing agreement.

- There is no need to change the folder where your copy of RealPlayer will
be installed (Macintosh HD:RealPlayer). Press the Next button.

- Choose from which locations you want the RealPlayer to start.

- You have begun the installation process.

- When asked for your Internet connection speed, choose the option that
corresponds to your computer's modem and ISP's connections (if using
campus connection, select 10 Mbps or T1/LAN).

- Select the options Make RealPlayer the default media player for
supported media types and Always play RealNetworks media clips with
RealPlayer.

- Select the channels you may need (INTIME
does not require these channels).

- Select Real.Com News and Entertainment Flashes (INTIME
does not require these flashes).

- Choose the information channels you want to receive automatically (INTIME
does not require).

- Click the Finish button.

- RealPlayer will automatically start, run a test clip, and then open
your Internet browser.
- Congratulations, you've installed RealPlayer!Sometimes it is necessary
ti upgrade the RealPlayer on your Mac. Follow the link for instructions on
