1. In My computer on your desktop:

• Find the file that you downloaded (this is why you need to remember where you saved it). The name of the file will be something like "r8-standard-setup.exe."
• Double click on the file to start the installation process.

2. Click Next on the welcome screen.

3. Accept the licensing agreement.

4.  Press the Next button.

5. When asked for your Internet connection speed, choose the option that corresponds to your computer's modem and ISP's connections (if using campus connection, select 10 Mb/sec or T1/LAN).

6. There is no need to change the Destination Directory (C:\Program Files\Real\RealPlayer).

7. Select the options you need (INTIME recommendations are in the image below).

8.  After a minute or so, the Configuration of RealPlayer pop-up menu will appear. 

9. Double check your e-mail address.

10. Add your zip code.

11. Uncheck the inform me of updates and events check box if you want to avoid receiving announcements and press releases from the RealPlayer company.

12. Select the channel you may need (you do not need channels for INTIME website).

13. Select the following if you want News and Entertainment Flashes (not required for INTIME).

14. Select the following if you want update information.

15. Click the Finish button.

16. RealPlayer will automatically start, run a test clip, and then open your Internet browser.

17. Congratulations, you've installed RealPlayer!
