Installing RealOnePlayer beta for MAC OS X

Before Installing RealOnePlayer on your MAC machine make sure that the following requirements are satisfied:

Minimum System Requirements:
- Mac* OS X (10.1 or higher, HFS+ partition) 
- 128 MB RAM 
- G3, G4, Mac OS X compatible
- 28.8kbps modem Internet Connection
- Browser support: Microsoft* Internet Explorer* 5.1 or later or Netscape* 6.2

If your computer complies to the above minimum requirements you can continue installing RealOnePlayer beta  for free from the following address http://www.real.com/realone/mac/

Note: Any new versions of RealPlayer that will be installed will not overwrite previous versions.

You must quit all open programs, including older versions of RealPlayer, before installing RealOnePlayer for Mac OS X. We suggest you print this page before the installation.

  1. On your desktop find the RealPlayer Installation shortcut and double click on it to start the installation process.

  2. Click Continue on the welcome screen.

  3. Hit Continue if your system meets the list of requirements mentioned above.
  4. Accept the licensing agreement.

  5. When asked for your Internet connection speed, choose the option that corresponds to your computer's modem and ISP's connections (if using campus connection, select 10 Mbps or T1/LAN). Press the Continue button after selecting it.

  6. Check both file extensions to be associated with RealOnePlayer.

  7. If you have your browser window opened then you will be prompted to close it.
    Hit Configure to complete the installation process.

  8. RealOne Player will automatically start, run a test clip, and then open your Internet browser. You can try your installation by loading one of the InTime videos.
